An oasis for good county cooking if you are in the area. The lacy corn bread is the best I have ever had. Everything else on the Sunday lunch buffet is great too.

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere took me, my friend, and my husband back to a time long ago. It's like eating at your grandmother's house - wainscoting, creaking floors and more. I can't wait to go back and try more of the amazing food!!

Tucked away in a quiet rural town in southeast Georgia is this charming gem of a local restaurant. We were in the area and decided to try it out. It was in an old house, renovated to accommodate several small dining areas, nicely decorated and appointed. Our server was pleasant and helpful, attending to our needs and requests. The best part was the food. We had grilled shrimp, shrimp and grits, grilled fresh vegetables and grilled Brussels sprouts. Everything was perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned, and delicious! There were many more tempting items on the menu that were asking us to try, but that will have to wait for another trip.It would be worth your time to take a little side trip to enjoy a meal at this fine restaurant!

What a beautiful house turned into a restaurant. It is decorated beautifully. We arrived and were greeted by the sweetest hostess. She seated us in the room to the right of the front door. I would call it the Coca Cola room. There is quite a few Coke memorabilia on the wall plus some other brands. The waitress came and took our drink order and told us about the special. We got the pepper jack cheese sticks as an appetizer. They brought some rolls and butter was already on the table. They weren't hot but they were good. The cheese sticks arrived. They came with a raspberry spread. Oh my! Sweet and spicy. They were very big cheese sticks. I loved that raspberry spread. The waitress brought our salads. I had the house salad. Oh, the pecans, mango, and strawberries were delicious. Maybe add a few more to it in the future. I opted for the raspberry vinaigrette too. Our entree came out. I had the ribeye and my wife had the special. It was some form of chicken parmesan. She said it was delicious. The steak was medium like I ordered. It had a good taste to it. I rather enjoyed the grilled squash that came with my ribeye. We were well pleased with our dinner at the Windmill. I casually asked the hostess about the house and she gave us a little tour and some history of the house. We will definitely go back.

The food is amazing! Kaycee is always coming up with the most divine dishes that have flavors that leave your pallet craving that next bite, but portions that leave your stomach full every time. I personally have not tried anything on the menu that was not delicious. Come try it out for yourself, I promise you will not leave disappointed.

What a treat! We went on a Sunday at lunch and the food and service were great! Love the atmosphere of the old country house that the restaurant is in. I added a picture of the main buffet bar, but I didn’t get a picture of the other side of the buffet room (bread, salad bar and dessert). We were just passing through but I wish we had this restaurant where we live!

In Tarrytown for the weekend at a sweet Airbnb, seen the restaurant as we were coming in and wanted to try it. Started a reservation on Google but it took too long so I called the restaurant directly. Sweet lady answered and told us (party of 5) to come on in and we could be seated. So we did! THE best choice EVER!!! Ribeye steak is tender juicy and flavorful! Veggies and loaded mashed potatoes were awesome and VERY DELICIOUS!!! Hospitable and friendly staff, answers all questions. I loved the history within the house and that of the house itself! We are a 40min drive away but we WILL RETURN for that ribeye steak!!!
